News

Ages I did not give any news and I am sorry but I have not even see this week running as we are busy like crazy. I leave home around 7am and back around 9pm..... Today is the end of the week and if I don't fall asleep before, I really would like to go out for a drink ;-)

Anu has left the Company yesterday because she will get married end of the year. Nothing special you will tell me but it's an arranged marriage and it's amazing me. Not in the bad way, don't misunderstand me.

Anu is indian, very well educated in the best business school in London and she grew up in Dubai. 2 weeks ago she went to London for a family trip and when she came back she told us she was engaged. She has met The One during this trip and then, as it seems to get along, they have decided to get engaged. But Anu has a strong caracter and she knows what she wants so instead of getting married next month which is the "coutume", she convinced her family and her fiance to spend some time together (not living together, you are crazy or what ;-)) before getting married.

The most amazing is that she will not marry a traditional indian but the One grew up and lives in Chicago. He is a Doctor and has never been living in India but he seems more traditionnal than the indians themselves.

I have spent some time with Anu asking her many questions as I am amazed and very interested in this tradition and my feeling today is that maybe it's a better way to get along with a husband. I mean when I see all the divorces in Europe I think maybe we don't have the good receipe.

We are not looking for the same things and building a successful couple life seems definitely to be a mystery for me ;-)))

I think I will try this one in my next life !

Couple of questions come to my mind and bother me because I hate the answers

- Who is behind Israeli?

- Who as created Hezbolah?

- Why Bush is against the UN Resoltion to stop the situation?

- Why it happens only couple of weeks after the failure of Bush with Iran.......

Come onnnnnnn Guysssssssssss open you eyes!!!!!!!

Please Don't ignore them!

Dear All

While everyone is trying to justify what is Isreal doing in Lebanon, and while some of our fellows and brothers are accusing that the Lebanese resistance caused this level of tension in the region, Children of Lebanon are dying everyday and no one wants to see or listen.

Lebanon is not only Downtown beirut or Mono street or Brumana or Bhamdoun and Alley, Lebanon is not about fancy Hotels and restaurants and night clubs. Open your eyes, Lebanon is all about its people who refuses to die everyday and this is what Isreal is trying to destroy.

Please do forward this email to everyone you know. do it for the favor of a country that you know, do it for a favor of one of your friends who is lebanese , do it as a favor for all humans in the world. LET THIS STOP

Regards
Bassem El Zein

Be aware, Be awake

What'a happening to the world.....

We are neighbours (almost) with Lebanon and the situation is really affecting us. Aline is lebanese and her family went away from the city to the mountains couple of days ago. She has the Radio on during all day and her face shows her worries. Farimah has a friend arriving form Beirut this thursday. She will stay with her until the situation comes down. We will welcome her at the office to keep her busy!!!!

Follow the Beirut Blogs instead of reading media.....

Tradition

A S S E Y E Z  V O U S  L A  E T  A T T E N D E N D E Z...
