I once took a photo of a young lad holding a camel by it's rein at a village near Jaiselmer in Rajasthan. When the camera went , the camel jerked itself up to it's full height, and suddenly the young lad was airborne. Very funny. For me. Don't think the lad was too impressed. Hope you enjoy the Rushdie book. I enjoy his stuff, but not too easy to read. REALLY enjoyed Midnight's Children though. Give it a go! And don't forget (I did tell you once) A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth. 1400 pages long, not difficult, and a sheer pleasure. Bisou, you.
